My first collaboration with AENĒIS Paris was back in the summer. Unlike most instagram accounts, I like to pick and choose the brands I work with. Ultimately, I am not looking to become the next big influencer, quit my day job and carry on a life of travel and social media. Not that there is anything wrong with that, but my approach to social media is just different. I love taking objects and giving them movement, capturing them on camera and writing about the emotion or feeling behind the project. Recently, a friend wrote and posted to social media about the vapid attachment we have to objects, such as accessories, shoes, clothing, etc. and how life should carry depth and how humans should not be weighed down by material things. I agree but I also agree with the fact that anything, inanimate or breathing can take your imagination away and make you feel something special. My Twilly Silk Scarf from AENĒIS, did just that. I imagined clear blue skies, the silk catching the sunlight as its tail gets whisked away in the wind. Use MEL15 at checkout to get a 15% discount.
Her scent lingered in the waters of the oceans, sands of the earth and winds of the sky. She was nomadic, but her musk would leave trails of bread crumbs for you to follow.
Catch her to set her free. Nomade by Chloé.
Her sense of adventure took her mind to places, uncovered.
Places where the serenity of her smile could live.
Hideaway her happiness,
Far from anyone or anything to harm it.
Keep it safe and let it live wild and free.
It took me about a month and a week to make peace with the departure of summer and entry of fall. It’s partially to do with Montreal’s uncontrollable need to rain. This weekend was the first in a long time where we had one beautiful day of fall. One beautiful, sunny and crisp day. Finally, I can show off the kind of pieces I have been gravitating towards.
To compare, is to lose sight of one’s path. We are naturally drawn to compare ourselves to others. We use our eyes as vessels to observe, compare, adjust... How can we love ourselves if we keep giving others our attention? To look inside yourself and follow the rhythm of your mind and beat of your heart is self love. Open your eyes, as though they were windows that lead to your soul. See everything in colour, rather than black and white. Find your place in the world. It doesn’t have to come in, rushing all at once. It will take time. Until then, appreciate others: what they have to bring to the world and most importantly give yourself the same appreciation. Be proud of what you’ve done and the path you’ve paved. Even if you are still on a journey, know that, a journey is your destination. It is a destination with no end.

NARS Monoi Body Glow has been my go-to body quenching oil for the perfect summer glow. And when summer comes to an end, it will be the perfect highlights for my shoulders, clavicle bones and the fronts of my legs.
Winter is approaching and I have yet to get over summer. The only thing getting me by is my collection of Sherpa Coats.
These coats are the comfiest, coziest purchases I have ever made for winter. Feeling like I’ve wrapped myself in my comforter each morning has made my commute to work bearable.
Now, to just get through these ice cold months and make my way to warmer days.
THREE BEAUTY BOOSTERS TO GET YOU THROUGH THIRSTY SKIN
These three Chanel beauty boosters have been my game changers. At first, I received them as pretty treasures to place on my make up desk, only to find out weeks in that they actually work. Le Jour is my layering piece to my already broken into KORRES 24 hour Moisturizing Cream. Its lightness allows me to wear make up all day, oil-free.
Le Nuit and Le Weekend makes your skin feel nourished day in and day out. The perfect pair to go make-up free all night and weekend long.
Céline Slides are currently on my wish list. Happy Monday!

TOP, JAMES PERSE | SKIRT, Réalisation Par
I fell in love with this place in the Old Port of Montreal. This is where a field of flowers met an aged, urban skyline. It was beautiful.
A new home tradition has been to walk around Montreal, get to know our city and capture moments, places and things. On this early romantic Sunday morning, I wore my new Réalisation Par 100% silk skirt. I love it when an outfit feels effortless. The easiness of this skirt made me feel so good, that morning all felt like a dream.
